Week 10

Lecture :

Topic - Intro to After Effect

Our lecturer presented us an overview of how Adobe After Effects is used for motion picture compositing, animation and visual effects. In addition, he demonstrated for us how motion graphics animation creates and tells a story by working with rasterised and vector art. Additionally, he revealed to us the difference between the composition layers in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects. Adobe Photoshop is used to transform still photographs into moving images whereas Adobe After Effects is used to animate layer sequences from various elements and platforms.

SUMMARY:
The poster "Look Through The Lens & Beyond" portrays photography as a bridge between reality and imagination. The central figure showing a girl who is me holding a camera with a cosmic vortex in the lens represents how photography allows us to see beyond the ordinary and uncover new dimensions of creativity. The surrounding surreal landscapes, including vibrant hot air balloons, glowing forests, and dreamlike rivers, symbolise the endless possibilities that come with exploring different perspective. It encourages viewers to use photography not just as a tool to document life but as a means to dive into the unseen, embrace wonder, and expand their creative horizons.
