skills learnt - Colour Theory
Through learning colour theory, I was able to explore the complex relationships between hues and
their emotional impact, as shown in the compositions above. The skills allowed me to use
selective recolouring, blending natural elements with human forms, creating surreal and thought-
provoking visuals. I learned to use contrasting tones and complementary colours to draw attention
to key elements, like the golden crown and the ethereal textures of nature and space. This
experience has improved my ability to develop cohesive and visually balanced designs that
combine symbolism and narrative depth to my artwork.

Photo Imaging Poster Design
Tittle : "Look Through The Lens & Beyond"
Description : The poster "Look Through The Lens & Beyond" portrays photography as a bridge
between reality and imagination. The central figure showing a girl who is me holding a
camera with a cosmic vortex in the lens represents how photography allows us to see
beyond the ordinary and uncover new dimensions of creativity. The surrounding surreal
landscapes, including vibrant hot air balloons, glowing forests, and dreamlike rivers,
symbolise the endless possibilities that come with exploring different perspectives. It
encourages viewers to use photography not just as a tool to document life but as a means
to dive into the unseen, embrace wonder, and expand their creative horizons.

skills learnt - Digital Surrealism
Learning digital surrealism has taught me how to blend elements such as the whirling galaxy within the
camera lens and fantasy landscapes to create a cohesive image. These techniques enabled me to convey
a feeling of wonder and depth, transforming ordinary objects and scenes into visionary narratives that
encourage viewers to "look through and beyond."
Overall Reflection :
Looking back on my journey from week 7 to week 10, I’m amazed at how much my creative process has grown. Each week brought new challenges that pushed me to think more intentionally about the elements in my artwork, whether it was through exploring colour theory, digital surrealism, or blending natural and human forms. I learned how to use colour, contrast, and layering to evoke emotions and direct the viewer’s attention, transforming simple ideas into more thoughtful and visually engaging pieces.
From recolouring and creating balance in compositions to seamlessly merging elements into surreal scenes, I’ve grown confident in my abilities to experiment and add depth to my work. I’ve also learnt to appreciate how small details, like a pop of gold or a swirling galaxy, can add meaning and focus to an image. Each assignment taught me to think critically about storytelling through visuals, making my work more cohesive and impactful.
Overall, this journey has improved not only my technical abilities but also deepened my understanding of how to express ideas through art. It’s been a rewarding experience, and I’m excited to see how these skills will shape my future creations.
